2002- Tyler Ebeling Commits to Milwaukee School of Engineering for the 2022/2023 SEASON

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Somerset, NJ – The Protec Jr. Ducks are proud to announce that Junior “A” forward Tyler Ebeling has committed to Milwaukee School of Engineering for the 2022-23 season.

Ebeling, 19, will join Milwaukee after netting 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 points on the year in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). The Protec Jr Duck expressed his excitement about the decision to join the school of his dreams.

“I am extremely excited to be attending Milwaukee School of Engineering. Coach Johnson and Assistant Coach Van Diest are running an amazing program and I can't wait to be a part of it. I absolutely fell in love with the school and its facilities, and the City of Milwaukee is a great place to be. While on my visit, I was also welcomed by the players I met. Most importantly, the education I will be getting at MSOE is exceptional and will set me up for success.”

The Jr. Ducks’ powerhouse forward also mentioned coach Terry Watt and the Protec Jr Ducks organization for their help and support during the season and in the recruiting process.

“Joining the Protec Jr. Ducks and playing in the EHL was one of the best decisions of my hockey career. My development soared this year as Coach Terry Watt and the Ducks' coaching staff challenged me day in and day out to become the best player I could be. The staff in the Protec Jr. Ducks organization and how we were treated was exceptional, and I want to thank everyone who made this year possible given the challenges of Covid 19.”

While the Jr. Ducks are in their inaugural season, the squad clinched home-ice advantage for the EHL’s first round of playoffs. It’s arguably no coincidence that Protec finished the 2020-21 campaign on a six-game winning streak.

“Tyler is every coaches dream; he plays a 200-foot game and is a well-rounded in all areas. Ebeling is the perfect example of hard work pays off; he puts the work in everyday and leads by example which is a result of his one ice results and recent commitment as a 2002 birth year. We couldn’t be happier for this young man, he has a bright future ahead of him”- Coach Terry Watt

“As for the EHL, it was a competitive league, ran very professionally and I can see why they send so many players on to the next level. I truly had an amazing experience playing in the EHL and would recommend it to anyone trying to move on to the next level.”– Tyler Ebeling

Protec is skating in its inaugural season for the EHL and is a member of the league's South Division.
