Protec Jr Ducks

Somerset, NJ - The Protec Ducks youth hockey club is proud to announce the purchase of its very own Junior hockey franchise, the Jr Ducks will begin play at Protec Ponds in Somerset, NJ for the 2020/2021 season.

The newly purchased franchise will be called the Protec Jr Ducks and will play in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL).

Located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and its 18 teams celebrates its 8th season in 2020-21. For the past five years, the EHL has finished as the leader in the Direct-To-College Advancement at the Division II and III levels. This past season alone, the EHL accounted for nearly 1 in every 5 freshmen on Division II and III rosters; accounting for over 1000 NCAA college commitments, the league has also placed a numerous number of players into the Division I level.

To go along with the NCAA Commitments, the EHL has also helped over 75 players work their way up the USA Hockey Ladder of Development to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the United States Hockey League (USHL).
